2009 was the first year that the Abridge Motorfest
was held during the Abridge village weekend,
The show saw over 200 cars and motor cycles and with approxamatly
800 spectators during the one day show it was obviously a big hit.
There was a huge range of both cars and motor cycles at
the show most of which was made up from verious car and bike clubs from around the country. The biggest turn out was
from the Ford / Shelby Mustang club which had 15 cars of all different models one of which was a very rare sight, that ofcourse
being the replica of 1968 Bullitt Ford Mustang GT390 Fastback which is also used in film and advert work and the
owners brother is a
Steve Mc Queen look-a-like.
The show went so well that it has already been booked and
plans are undergoing for ways to make it bigger and better for 2010
